FX has released a second trailer for Alien: Earth

FX’s Alien: Earth has managed to grip the audience’s interest right from its very first trailer. The excitement among the viewers is already sky-high for the original series. However, the recently released second trailer of Alien: Earth, titled ‘Greener World’, has taken the bar higher as the story and plot both could potentially be a game-changer for the science fiction horror genre.

Series’ creator Noah Hawley‘s vision, his team’s cinematography, and the initial plot and premise build-up promise an intriguing watch. The first official trailer of the original series currently sits around 24 million views on YouTube. However, the second one has garnered over 14 million in just about a couple of days.

The second trailer of Alien: Earth focuses more on the species beyond normal existence on Earth and their whereabouts. The trailer 2 of the sci-fi series provides a hint about the plot revolving around the exploitation of the mystery surrounding the evolution and forms of these species.

From the conclusion part of the trailer, a sense of need and urgency to solve the impending mystery around these species and know more about them before it’s too late prevails. Also, there are moments in Alien: Earth’s latest trailer that build tension and make you feel already gripped and wanting more.

‘FX’s Alien: Earth’ premieres August 12 on Hulu

The original series Alien: Earth will premiere on Hulu and FX on August 12. In the US, it will air at 8 PM ET. As per reports, the first two episodes of the series will be released initially. After that, a new episode will come out every week, keeping the timing constant.

International viewers (other than US) will be able to watch the series on the Disney+ platform. As far as the number of episodes is concerned, the series’s first season is likely to feature 8 episodes (as per Space.com). So, whether this sci-fi horror original will live up to the expectations of the viewers remains yet to be seen.
